Overview
ABACM were engaged by the Canberra Islamic Centre to build a Community Cultural Centre which includes class rooms, a library and Mosque facilities.

The center is the second stage of the proposed redevelopment that will accommodate the needs of the growing Muslim community.

The center includes a female prayer area on the mezzanine floor overlooking the main prayer hall, 3 interactive classrooms, office, kiosk area, custom designed wet areas, an accessible lift and a fully furnished 2 bedroom residence integrated into the main building.    

The project was partly community funded and therefore the works were staged to accommodate incoming funds.
